AMSOIL DOMINATOR® Coolant Boost is a cooling system additive that uses proprietary tiered surfactant technology to improve heat transfer, reduce engine operating temperatures by up to 25°F, and protect all six common cooling system metals from corrosion.

Your coolant's job is to pull heat away from engine components and release it through the radiator. Most coolants leave small air gaps between the liquid and metal surfaces that slow that transfer down. Coolant Boost eliminates those gaps. Its three-tiered surfactant system — each surfactant operating at a different temperature range — maximises liquid-to-metal contact across the entire operating range, forcing more heat out through the radiator faster. The result: lower temperatures, more efficient combustion, and real measured horsepower gains.

Up to 25°F Temperature Reduction In straight-water cooling applications, AMSOIL's own testing recorded a reduction of up to 25°F (13.8°C). In 50/50 antifreeze-water mixtures, up to 8°F reduction. Both figures are from controlled V8 dyno testing at 4,500 RPM.

54% Faster Warm-Up Times The same surfactant technology that pulls heat away faster also accelerates heat distribution during cold starts — AMSOIL's testing shows average warm-up times reduced by 54%. Useful for daily drivers in cold conditions, and for getting race engines to operating temperature faster before a run.

Full Corrosion Protection Contains a robust mix of corrosion inhibitors including molybdate for galvanic protection. In ASTM testing, near-zero weight loss across all six cooling system metals — copper, solder, brass, steel, cast iron, and cast aluminium. Critical for race applications running straight water.

Built-In pH Indicator The mixture turns pink when Coolant Boost is active and reverts to clear when the treatment is depleted and needs replenishing. No guesswork, no testing strips — the coolant tells you when it's time.

## 🛠️ How to Use

**Prepare** Engine must be fully OFF and COOL before starting. Confirm the cooling system is filled with your chosen coolant — either straight water or an antifreeze-water mixture. Shake the Coolant Boost bottle well before use.

**Dose & Add** Calculate the correct amount based on your cooling system's total capacity — see the dosage reference table below. Pour the measured amount directly into the radiator (not the overflow reservoir).

**Circulate** Start the engine and immediately set the cabin heater to maximum. Run the engine for 15 minutes to fully circulate Coolant Boost through the entire system — heater core included.

Water Quality

Tap, bottled, or distilled — water must contain less than 25 ppm chloride

Always add to a cool, off engine. Pour into the radiator directly — not the overflow tank. Do not exceed the recommended dosage; AMSOIL confirms that exceeding dosage provides no additional performance benefit. Do not use distilled water alone (without antifreeze) in non-racing applications due to freezing risk. For race applications using straight water, monitor the pH colour indicator and re-dose when the mixture changes from pink to clear. Refer to the AMSOIL product data bulletin for complete guidance.
