The DarkSide XL is a solvent-resistant applicator brush with dense, ultra-soft nylon fibres, sized for medium and large tyres.

Foam pads and microfibre towels miss things. Lettering, sidewall grooves, tread edges. You end up with a tyre that looks patchy under direct light — heavy in the flat areas, bare in the recesses, and usually over-applied somewhere it'll sling off onto the paint. The densely packed nylon fibres here reach into the contours a flat applicator skips over, distributing product evenly across the whole sidewall. Many detailers use it as a levelling tool: lay the dressing down with a standard applicator, then work it in and spread it with the brush for a uniform finish with far less product on the tyre face. The fibres are solvent-resistant, so it handles solvent-based dressings and trim products without degrading, and it's soft enough for trim and some interior work too.

## 🛠️ How to Use

**Prep the Tyre** Clean the rubber thoroughly with a dedicated tyre cleaner and let it dry fully. Dressing over old product or grime never lasts.

**Load & Work** Apply dressing to the brush, or lay it on with a pad first and use the brush to spread. Work around the sidewall in overlapping passes.

**Level & Cure** Even out any heavy areas, wipe excess from the tyre face with a microfibre, and allow curing time before driving to avoid sling.
