CarPro P2000 silicon carbide sanding discs refine sanding marks and level remaining defects, leaving a surface that compounds out cleanly.

Modern OEM clear is thin. You don't get a second attempt. Traditional aluminium oxide papers remove more material than necessary and leave deep grooves that take heavy compounding to chase out — which costs you clear coat twice. Silicon carbide cuts differently: precise defect removal without the deep scoring, so the sanded area refines back to a flawless finish with far less correction behind it. P2000 sits in the middle of the range, refining the marks left by a P1500 pass and handling further levelling before you move to P3000 or straight into compound. Anti-clog technology keeps the abrasive from loading up, and the bonded interface padding lets the disc follow the peaks and valleys of OEM texture instead of flattening high spots.

## 🛠️ How to Use

**Measure First** Take paint depth readings across the panel before any sanding, and identify exactly which defects justify abrasive correction.

**Sand** Fit to a matching hook and loop backing plate or interface. Work with light, even pressure in overlapping passes, wet or dry.

**Refine & Compound** Step up through finer grits as needed, then compound and polish to remove all remaining sanding marks and restore full gloss.
