The CarPro Merino Wool Pad is a fast-cutting lambswool pad with a stitched backing, built for heavy correction on both dual action and rotary machines.

Wool pads have a reputation for failing under load. Stitching solves what adhesive couldn't. Traditional wool pads bond the fibre layer to an interface with glue, and under the violent action of a long-throw DA that bond eventually separates. CarPro skipped the foam backing entirely — which gives you more direct control over the surface — and replaced adhesive with a stitched construction that won't twist, kink or rupture mid-panel. The result cuts hard and, unusually for wool, finishes down far better than traditional wool pads, so you spend less time refining behind it. Velcro adhesion holds even at very high rotary speeds.

## 🛠️ How to Use

**Mount & Prime** Centre the pad on a matching backing plate. Prime the wool lightly with compound before the first pass so it isn't cutting dry.

**Cut in Sections** Work small sections with the pad in constant motion. Wool cuts fast — check your progress frequently rather than assuming another pass is needed.

**Clean & Refine** Clear spent compound and residue from the fibres between sections, then follow with a foam polishing pad to refine the finish.
