**Clear and Agitate** Take the mats out and lift the carpet pile with a brush first — agitation is what brings embedded grit to the surface where suction can reach it.

**Work Top-Down** Seats first, then seat rails and seams, then footwells and boot. Debris falls downward into areas you haven't done yet.

**Empty and Clean the Filter** Empty the cup and clean the filter after each use. A loaded filter kills suction long before the cup is actually full.
