Gyeon Q²M Clay is a chemically resistant clay bar available in Coarse for heavy contamination and Mild for maintenance and soft paint.

Ordinary clay dissolves on contact with a strong decon chemical. This one doesn't melt. That single property changes how a decontamination stage runs: because Q²M Clay stands up to iron removers and tar removers, you can clay while the chemical is working on the panel rather than running mechanical and chemical decon as two separate passes with a rinse between them. It's the kind of time saving that compounds across a full car. Beyond that it does what good clay should — lifts the bonded contamination that washing leaves behind and returns the paint to genuinely smooth, ready for correction or coating. Pick by condition: Coarse carries robust abrasives for tar, industrial fallout and overspray on a neglected car headed for paint correction, while Mild uses finer abrasives that are unlikely to mar even soft paint, which makes it the right call when no machine polishing follows.

## 🛠️ How to Use

**Wash, Then Cut the Bar** Wash the car first. Cut the bar into quarters and knead one into a puck — there's no need to use the whole bar in a session.

**Lubricate Generously** Soak the panel with clay lube and work the clay in straight lines in all directions using light pressure. Never clay a dry panel.

**Knead and Replace** When the clay picks up dirt, knead it to reveal a clean face. When a piece is spent, move to a fresh quarter.

Gyeon note that these bars are stiffer than most, so knead thoroughly before the first pass. Coarse may leave slight marring and is intended for use before a correction stage — on soft paint with no polishing planned, choose Mild.
