Mafra Fallout Iron Remover is an acid-free, pH-balanced iron decontaminant that chemically dissolves ferrous particles embedded in paint and wheel finishes — turning a characteristic purple as it reacts, confirming the contamination is being broken down.

Brake dust, industrial fallout, and railway particles embed themselves into paint and wheel lacquer at a microscopic level — invisible to the eye but rough to the touch and actively corrosive over time. No shampoo, APC, or clay bar removes them. Fallout does — its formula reacts chemically with iron particles and converts them into a water-soluble compound that rinses away cleanly. The purple colour change isn't just satisfying — it's confirmation the product is working, and that the iron is dissolving rather than sitting.

Acid-Free & pH-Balanced Unlike many iron removers that rely on aggressive acidic chemistry, Fallout is acid-free and pH-balanced — non-toxic and safe for use on all wheel types including chrome, polished, and light alloy, as well as painted bodywork and glass.

Colour-Change Indicator Turns purple on contact with ferrous particles — a built-in visual indicator that shows exactly where iron contamination is present and confirms the chemical reaction is actively dissolving it. Rinse when the colour fully develops.

Wheels & Full Bodywork Effective on wheel faces, spokes, and barrel surfaces, and equally usable on painted bodywork — particularly on cars exposed to railway or industrial fallout where embedded iron particles penetrate the clear coat.

Dilutable for Maintenance Ready to use neat for heavy contamination. For light maintenance decontamination, can be diluted up to 1:1 with water — making the bottle go further on routine decontamination sessions between deeper treatments.

## 🛠️ How to Use

**Wash First** Wash the car or wheels thoroughly before application to remove loose dirt. Work on a cool surface in a well-ventilated area — the product has a characteristic sulphur smell. Do not apply in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces.

**Apply & Watch** On wheels: apply directly and allow 3–4 minutes to dwell, using a soft brush to work the product into spoke gaps and recesses. On bodywork: spray from around 60cm to cover a wide area, working panel by panel and half the car at a time. Allow 2–3 minutes dwell. The product will turn purple as it reacts — do not allow it to dry on the surface.

**Rinse Thoroughly** Rinse with plenty of water before the product dries. Follow with a standard shampoo wash to remove any remaining residue. Dry with a clean microfiber.
