D-A Coarse is the heavy stage, engineered to remove severe defects, deep scratches, oxidation and sanding marks while still leaving a surface that refines easily. D-A Fine is the unusual one — a fine polish with far more cutting ability than fine polishes traditionally offer, which means on moderately swirled paint it often works as a complete one-step on its own, and after a Coarse pass it finishes to high gloss without a third stage. Both are designed as diminishing abrasives that spread across the surface as a lubricated abrasive rather than loading into the foam, which is what keeps them working consistently and finishing cleanly. ## 🛠️ How to Use

**Assess and Test** Decontaminate the paint, check thickness, then run a test section. If D-A Fine clears the defects alone, skip the Coarse stage entirely.

**Cut with Coarse** Pair D-A Coarse with a blue coarse foam pad — or a coarse wool pad for harder clears — and work section by section with overlapping passes.

**Refine with Fine** Switch to a clean yellow fine pad and D-A Fine to clear the compounding marks and bring the panel up to full gloss. Wipe down and inspect under good light.
