The Rupes X-Cut P2000 Foam Abrasive Disc is a heavy-cut wet sanding tool designed to flatten severe orange peel, remove deep scratches, and correct dust nibs in fresh paint.

    Lubricate This is a wet sanding disc. Spray the paint and the disc liberally with water or a dedicated clay lubricant. Never use dry.

    Level Using a DA polisher (speed 1-2) or hand block, sand the area with light pressure in a cross-hatch pattern until the surface looks uniformly dull.

    Refine **Crucial Step:** P2000 leaves deep sanding marks. It is highly recommended to follow this step with a Rupes P3000 disc to refine the scratches.

    Compound Polish the area with a heavy cutting compound and a wool pad to remove the sanding haze and restore the gloss.
