The Rupes X-Cut P3000 Foam Abrasive Disc is the professional's choice for wet sanding, designed to safely remove orange peel and severe defects to create a glass-like surface.

A shiny car isn't enough if the reflection looks "wavy." This is called **Orange Peel**, and it is extremely common on repainted vehicles in Pakistan. To fix it, you need to flatten the clear coat. The Rupes X-Cut P3000 features a cushioned foam backing that allows it to contour to the body lines, leveling the texture safely without cutting through the edges of the panel.

P3000 Finishing Grit A very fine abrasive grade that is aggressive enough to level orange peel and remove deep scratches, yet leaves a haze that is easy to polish out.

    Prep Clean the panel thoroughly. Spray a liberal amount of water (or clay lube) onto the surface and the sanding disc.

    Sand Attach to a Dual Action polisher or hand block. Use low speed (Speed 1-2) with light pressure. Keep the disc moving to avoid heat buildup.

    Check Wipe the panel dry with a squeegee or towel. The surface should look uniformly matte/dull. If you see shiny spots (low spots), continue sanding lightly.

    Restore The paint will now look cloudy. You **must** follow up with a heavy cutting compound and a wool/microfiber pad to restore the gloss.
