**Wash First** The car must be fully washed and free of loose dirt before claying. Any grit left on the surface will be dragged by the clay and scratch the paint.

**Lubricate & Clay** Break off a small piece, flatten it into a disc. Spray a generous amount of clay lubricant or quick detailer onto a small section of the panel. Glide the clay back and forth with zero pressure — let the clay do the work. Fold and reshape frequently to expose a clean face.

**Wipe & Move On** Wipe the section clean with a microfiber and feel the surface — it should be glass-smooth. If not, re-lubricate and clay again. Continue section by section across the entire car.

Always use clay with generous lubrication — never clay a dry surface. If you drop the clay bar on the ground, discard it immediately — it will pick up grit that will scratch your paint. Store unused clay in a sealed airtight bag or container away from heat and sunlight to prevent it drying out.
