Soft99 H-9 is a professional-grade dual layer glass coating — a primer coat and a top coat that build two distinct hard glass layers over the paint.

Most coatings are a single layer doing every job at once. H-9 splits the work in two. The base coat bonds to the clear coat and builds structure; the top coat goes over it and delivers the water behaviour and gloss. Combining two different glass layers is what produces the 9H pencil hardness Soft99 rate this system at, and it's why H-9 resists the micro-scratching that airborne dust and grit inflict on a daily-driven car. Once cured you get sharp, deep gloss with strong water repellency, and an anti-fouling surface that stops contamination bonding — bird droppings, traffic film, road salt and acid rain sit on the coating and rinse away rather than etching into paint. This is a professional-level system, and it demands professional preparation.

Work indoors or in shade on a cool, completely dry surface, panel by panel — never apply the whole car at once. In cold or slow-drying conditions Soft99 advise repeating the application and wipe-off step once. Keep the coating dry through the cure period, use the supplied gloves, work in a well-ventilated area, and refer to the manufacturer's instructions for cure times, coverage and current guidance. Durability depends heavily on preparation, storage conditions and maintenance washing.
