🧽 How to Use Fine Cut Compound
Step 1 – Clean the Surface:
Thoroughly wash and dry your vehicle before polishing.
Step 2 – Surface Check:
Run your hand over the paint. If you feel any roughness, bumps, or residue, use a clay bar with detailer spray to remove contaminants.
Step 3 – Apply Compound:
Place four dime-sized drops of compound on your polishing pad. Work slowly across a 2’ x 2’ section of the vehicle using even passes.
Step 4 – Wipe Off Residue:
Use a clean microfiber cloth to buff off remaining compound, revealing a clear, glossy shine.
Step 5 – Repeat Across Vehicle:
Move panel by panel around your car, repeating the polishing and wiping process until the entire surface is restored.
