The Tonyin Rayon Glass Polish Pad (5") is a specialized, high-density machine polishing pad designed to tackle the extreme hardness of automotive glass, removing stubborn water spots and light wiper scratches.

Trying to polish severe hard water stains off a windshield with a standard foam paint pad is a waste of time and product. Glass is incredibly hard, and foam simply absorbs the polish and glides over the defects. You need rayon. These highly compressed, abrasive-resistant fibers are specifically designed to generate the precise amount of friction and heat required to level etched minerals and restore flawless, distortion-free optical clarity to your windows.

  Prep the Glass Thoroughly wash and clay the windshield first. You must remove all surface dirt and grit before polishing, or you risk grinding that dirt into the glass.

  Apply the Polish Apply 4 to 5 pea-sized drops of a dedicated glass polish (such as a Cerium Oxide-based compound) directly to the Tonyin Rayon Pad.

  Work Slowly Using your machine polisher, work in small 2x2 foot sections. Use slow arm movements and moderate downward pressure, allowing the pad to generate the necessary friction.

  Wipe and Inspect Wipe the polished area clean with a microfiber towel and a glass cleaner to inspect your work. Wash the pad thoroughly with warm water after use to prevent the polish from hardening.
