CarPro IronX LimeScale is a hybrid decontamination spray that removes embedded iron particles and dissolves hard-water mineral deposits in a single step.

Two problems, two products — until now. Standard iron removers pull ferrous contamination but leave calcium and magnesium deposits sitting on the paint. IronX LimeScale is mild acid-based rather than pH-neutral, which is what lets it break down brake dust and rail fallout while simultaneously attacking the mineral spotting left behind by hard water and sprinkler overspray. You spray once, dwell once, rinse once, and the panel comes back smooth and clear — ready for compound, polish, or a coating. CarPro advise that IronX LimeScale is more aggressive toward ceramic coatings than standard IronX — it will not strip a coating, but repeated use can affect its hydrophobic behaviour. On a coated car, reach for standard IronX first and keep LimeScale for genuine mineral spotting. Dwell times are reference points only, not a formula: work out of direct sun, test on an inconspicuous area first, use appropriate PPE and ventilation, and follow the manufacturer's label for current guidance.
