Check the manual for wet pickup capability and the correct filter configuration before vacuuming any liquid — using the wrong filter with water damages the motor. Clean or replace filters regularly, as a clogged filter reduces suction well before the drum fills. Keep the unit and cable clear of standing water in a wash bay.
