  Apply to Cool Paint Never use strong cleaners on a hot car. Ensure the vehicle is parked in the shade and the surface is cool to the touch.

  Foam the Area Shake the can well. Spray a thick, overlapping layer of foam directly onto the bug splatter or tar. You can apply this *before* you wash the car or as a spot treatment.

  Let it Dwell Allow the foam to sit for roughly 5 minutes so the chemistry can do the hard work. Crucial rule: Do not let the foam dry on the paint.

  Wipe or Wash Gently wipe the area clean with a damp microfiber towel, or simply wash the vehicle with your regular car shampoo to remove the softened debris. Note: Heavy-duty cleaners will strip your wax, so remember to re-seal the area!
