Matte Black Shows Everything. Especially the Wrong Detailer.

A mist-and-wipe detailer built specifically for vinyl wraps, PPF and matte paint — lifts dust and fingerprints and adds UV protection without touching the finish.

A standard quick detailer on a matte wrap is a visible mistake. Gloss enhancers leave patches. Conventional detailers carry shine agents and oils that sit unevenly on a non-gloss surface, and on matte black every streak and smear reads like a fingerprint on glass — which is exactly the finish that shows them worst. This is the same idea as Meguiar's Quik Detailer, rebuilt from the ground up for wraps and matte paint instead. It gently lifts dust, smudges and fresh contamination between washes with no heavy rubbing, and leaves UV-fading protection behind to help the wrap hold its colour rather than greying out in the sun. It's safe across matte, satin and gloss, so a car with a gloss wrap, a PPF front end and matte trim gets handled by one bottle.

Reference Points

This is a light maintenance detailer rather than a durable sealant — for months of standalone protection on a matte finish, use a dedicated matte sealant instead. It won't remove heavy contamination, bonded dirt or staining, and attempting that with pressure risks marking the wrap. Work in the shade on cool panels, use a clean towel every time, and refer to the manufacturer's label for current guidance.
