Let the Drill Do It. Then Lock It In for 18 Months.

A drill-powered headlight restoration kit that cuts through heavy oxidation, cloudiness and yellowing, then seals the lens with a ceramic UV-blocking shield.

Hand restoration runs out of road on badly gone lenses. Heavy oxidation needs real abrasion. On a lens that's gone properly milky, a pad and some elbow grease will lighten it and then stall — the oxidation is deeper than hand pressure can reach, and you end up with a headlight that looks improved rather than clear. This kit solves that by putting the work on a drill: the oxidation removal pads mount to the supplied 3" backing plate, and with the cleaning solution the machine cuts through the damaged layer in a fraction of the time and with none of the plateau. Then comes the part that matters more. The Ceramic Headlight Shield wipes on by hand with the included towelettes and replaces the UV layer you just removed — Meguiar's rate it beyond 18 months against future oxidation, which is where this kit separates from the lighter restoration options.

What's in the Kit

A drill is required and not supplied. Mask surrounding paint and trim before starting — a drill-mounted pad will damage bodywork on contact. Work at moderate speed and keep the pad moving to avoid heat building in the plastic. Severely pitted or internally fogged lenses may be beyond restoration, since this treats the outer surface only. Follow the directions on the packaging and wear eye protection.
