The edge is the hard part of every removal job. Film doesn't offer you one. PPF sits flush, and getting under it means working something thin into the gap at a panel edge or a cut line — which is the exact moment people reach for a razor blade or a screwdriver and put a permanent scratch into paint they were trying to protect. Plastic blades solve it structurally: soft enough that they won't cut clear coat, stiff enough to get under film and lift it so you can get fingers on it and peel. Same tool handles the aftermath — old badge adhesive, dealer stickers, residue left behind after the film comes away. Three in the set because the edges dull with use and a worn blade is a blade you push harder with.

Plastic blades are far safer than metal but are not risk-free — work at a shallow angle, never force a dull blade, and warm film gently first so it releases rather than tearing. Test on an inconspicuous area, take particular care on repainted panels and soft paint, and clean any grit off the blade before each pass.
